Developmental Psychology PhD Student
University of Michigan Ann Arbor
I am a first year developmental psychology student in the Institute for Social Research (ISR) at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I take a lifespan approach to development, thus I am interested in understanding change over time from birth to death. I am specifically interested in development in late-life populations over 65, as I am interested in helping older adults maintain a high level of psychological well being into late life. My current research looks into the effects of social cohesion on self perception and self reported well being in a nationally representative sample of older adults.
